I took advantage of the AMC's cheap pre-noon tickets to finally see True Grit today (third time's a charm). I rather enjoyed it! Strong characters, simple but interesting progression of the story, terrifically shot. And it's got that Coen tone. I think that helped enormously for me actually, because I normally find westerns to be pretty dry (even Deadwood, which is so great, can drag sometimes for me). Between this and Tron: Legacy, it's been a Jeff Bridgey weekend!
